Live Investigation

As investigators face the growing challenges of navigating vast datasets from the deep and dark web, understanding the integration and verification of data sources has become essential. This session will explore these skills through an exclusive high-profile case study of Jan Marsalek, the former COO of the German bank Wirecard AG. Currently one of Interpol’s Most Wanted, Marsalek is suspected of orchestrating a €1.9 billion fraud while allegedly serving as a Russian intelligence operative.
